A 230m-high hill the tallest peak in the Mekong Delta

Located 6 km to the west of Chau Doc Town, Sam Mountain is a 230m-high hill overlooking picturesque view of the Mekong Delta region, the sublime landscape of the surrounding rice fields and neighboring Cambodia.

It is also where many historic remains deeply loved by the inhabitants of Nam Bo plain are located. The most popular ones that have been recognized as national vestiges are Tay An pagoda, Temple of Lady Xu, Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, Cavern pagoda. Besides, Tao Ngo Garden and Bach Van Hill are also among the famous sites to visit near Sam Mountain.
