West Lake

HanoiWest Lake, the largest lake in Hanoi, is located right in the center of the city. It is a popular place for recreation surrounded by many gardens, hotels, restaurants and other entertainment centers. The nearby quarters are often full with imposingly large edifices occupied by elite Vietnamese and ex-pats.

The lake is also bordered with many significant places in history of Hanoi such as Quan Thanh Temple, one of the Four Sacred Temples of ancient, and Hanoi Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Vietnam.
